Due to changes regarding the epidemic with COVID-19, we are also currently making changes to the way we have our dance classes in order to provide a healthy, safe environment.
Our Winter-Spring semester will begin January 4th and run through June, ending the season with a spring recital. This schedule is subject to change due to the pandemic. Our start date may be delayed and we may need to shut down at any point per state regulations. 
Our second semester will look very similar to how we are currently running our studio. Class sizes will be limited. Students will be spaced six feet apart, no matter where they stand from other dancers., including tumbling. Tumbling mats are disinfected after every class. 
Our Winter-Spring semester will have a recital in June, subject to change. If you wish to participate in the recital, there will be a recital and costume fee. Our current plan is that we will be holding an outdoor performance at Snus Hill Winery, similar to our June 2020 recital. You must notify Dance Driven via email by January 20th if you do NOT plan on participating in recital.
If our studio needs to close, our classes will be recorded and available to students. We will also be adding video links throughout the year of combinations/dances for students to practice with, whether or not we have classes in person.
Parents are welcome to come into the building; however, we ask that they not come in unless absolutely necessary. Our waiting room is currently “closed” to keep our numbers and exposure down. 
For our classes that start before 5:30pm, we do offer an option where a staff walks to the school and brings them to the studio for their class that day, as we offer a before/after school program. Students will be offered a snack and if time allows, assisted with homework. Special discounts are applied, depending on what time your class is. Please notify the director if you are interested in this option.
If a staff or student tests positive with COVID, the class will be notified. We will follow the guidelines and recommendations by the IDPH and CDC regarding closure. Do NOT attend classes if you are symptomatic. Students will be six feet apart and can wear a face mask if they choose. At times we may require a face mask, depending on the number of positive cases or if mandated by the government. Students who do not follow our guidelines will be asked to have a conference with parents and may be asked to leave if they cannot follow safety rules.
There are five minute “breaks” between classes to allow for teachers to disinfect areas and assist students in entering/exiting class. Students can stay in their designated spots and visit with their friends during this time, social disDance style! 
When students arrive, they will be asked to put their shoes/coats in the entryway/hallway in designated areas. Staff will encourage students wash their hands or use hand sanitizer upon entering and exiting the building. We ask that parents encourage the students to use the restroom before coming to dance.
Our monthly class fees for our Winter-Spring classes are as follows:
The first class you register for is $25.00 (plus tax). Any additional classes will be an additional $15.00. 
If you have more than one sibling enrolled in classes, they will also be $25 for the first class and an additional $15 for every class. For example, two siblings that are enrolled in three classes, their monthly fee would be $55 plus tax. 
We will be doing ALL payments as a monthly auto withdrawal on the 10th of each month January through May. When you register for classes, please make sure the card entered is the correct one. If you wish to drop a class, you must notify Dance Driven via email by the 10th of each month in order to not be charged for the class. We may adjust monthly tuition in case of a state mandated shut down.

Students and parents that need to come in and order dance shoes, etc. may do so by setting up an appointment by emailing us at dancedriven@yahoo.com.
