Our 2022 Winter-Spring semester will begin January 3rd and run through May 13th, ending the season with a spring recital scheduled for May 14th & 15th (subject to change). There will be no classes the week of March 14-18 unless we need to make up a snow day. If more snow days are needed, we will be scheduling makeup classes.
Our Winter-Spring semester will host our end of the season recital. If you wish to participate in the recital, there will be costume fees, as they will be purchased, not rented. Tickets will also be required to purchase for the performance. You must notify the director in writing if you do not plan on being in the spring recital by January 15th.
We will have rehearsal in lieu of classes the week of recital (May 9-12) and they will be held at Huxley auditorium as follows (subject to change):
Thursday, May 12 5:00-6:00pm all Preschool & Intro to Dance 6:00-7:00pm Grades K-1 & Grades 2-3 7:00-8:00pm Grades 4-5 & 6-8 8:00-8:45pm Grades 9-12 & senior solos
Friday, May 13th All classes will rehearse from 5:00-8:00pm.
Costumes will not be required for these rehearsals.
For our classes that start before 5:30pm, we do offer an option where a staff comes to the Madrid Elementary school and brings them to the studio for their class that day, as we offer an after school program. Students will be offered a snack, activities and if time allows, assisted with homework. Please notify the director if you are interested in this option.
Students are welcome to join at any time, however please realize that we may not be able to have your child perform in any of our shows if it is too late in the season to learn the choreography or order a costume.
FEES Our monthly class fees are based on the number of hours of instruction per week. Our fee schedule for our Winter-Spring classes are listed at the bottom of the page.
Family/siblings living in the same household will be based on the number of hours the family/household is taking. For example, two siblings taking 2 hours of classes would be charged a monthly fee of $74.00(plus tax).
We will be offering the following payment options:
Pay monthly as you go. You are responsible for paying your bill by check/cash or via the app by the 10th of each month. Accounts will be invoiced on the 1st of each month. Accounts not paid by the 25thwill incur a $10 late fee.
Auto-withdrawal on the 10th of each month (January-May). May is a half month, so you will be only charged for half a month’s tuition. When you register for classes, please make sure the card entered is the correct one that you wish to have auto-withdrawn. You must notify us via email if you want this option.
Full semester tuition with special discount applied. In order to receive your discount, the ENTIRE semester including costume fees must be paid in full by check or cash by December 15th. If you choose this option, you will be charged only for four months tuition instead of 4.5 months. No refunds will be given unless we are in a mandated shut-down, in which case a credit will be applied to your account. You must notify us via email if you want this option.
If you wish to drop a class, you must notify Dance Driven via email by the 1st of the month in order to not be charged for the month. We may adjust monthly tuition in case of a state mandated shut down.
COSTUME FEES Costumes on the same line will be wearing the same costume for all those classes. For example, grades K-1 tumbling, hip hop & pom has only one costume fee. Costume fees are due by January 15th. (Prices do not include tax)
